Description
Mica painting depicting a barefoot, moustached boot polisher kneeling with a black boot across his raised knee and brushing its surface. He wears a decorated white turban, a white long-sleeved tunic and an ochre lower garment; a second boot, brushes and a dark bottle are arranged beside him. A green domed chest with a gold-coloured fastening stands to the right, beneath deep red drapery extending across the upper edge.
