Description
A full-length painting of a barefoot, moustached porter carrying two loads suspended by ropes from a wooden shoulder pole. He wears a yellow-orange turban, a white long-sleeved tunic gathered with a broad waist sash, and an orange dhoti. A rounded green container hangs to the left and a black trunk with pale dotted borders and handles to the right, against an otherwise unpainted ground.
