Description
Mica painting of a barefoot, moustached man standing in left-facing profile and holding a pink paddle, possibly a laundry beater. He wears a white turban, a long-sleeved white tunic secured by a broad sash, and a white lower garment patterned with small red motifs. Fine grey brushwork defines the folds of his clothing, with a painted shadow extending across the grey ground beneath his feet.
