Description
Volume 1 of Extracts and Documents relating to Mārāthā History, entitled Śiva Chhatrapati, bound in reddish cloth over the spine and corners with green patterned paper-covered boards. The title page identifies Surendranath Sen’s translation of the Sabhāsad Bakhar, with extracts from Chitṇīs and Śivadigvijaya and accompanying notes, published by the University of Calcutta in 1920. It bears the university emblem and a purple “Sole Agents / R. Cambray & Co. / Calcutta” stamp. The photographed openings include contents pages, military regulations, and lists of forts and strongholds, with occasional underlining and manuscript annotations.
